I think that is a desired effect of bronze die’s. I will admit i know nothing about bronze die’s, but a few big name brands use to sell a dried pasta product called “thick and hearty” and they mentioned bronze die’s. That said it was my favorite because it really soaked up a sauce, and was a thicker pasta, especially the elbow macaroni. Was great for mac and cheese. I miss it. It dissapeared during covid and never came back.
