Re: Thinking about Biscotto stone for my Ooni, advice sought

Quote from: Bubblechomp on April 28, 2024, 10:03:49 AMI’m late to the conversation but I can offer some input. I received a biscotto stone from both of these companies. The stones come from essentially the same source—Sorrento, Italy.

The stone from “Biscotto Stones International As” shipped from Norway to Ohio via DHL Express and only took two days. My stone was a 12″ for the Ooni Koda 12. It was securely packaged but quite raw off the saw. A little sandpaper cleaned it up nicely. It was a little smaller than the stone that came with Ooni but no real complaints. The company was nice to work with and I received what I ordered.

The stone from “Biscotto di Sorrento” shipped from Virginia to Ohio via UPS and took 3 days. UPS was delayed by a day otherwise it would have been two days. My stone was for the Gozney Arc XL. It was more polished than the other stone with nice bevelled edges and such. The owner was very responsive to emails and great to work with. I highly recommend.

There’s only a handful…
