Tools to Dispense & Weigh Small Amounts
Just passing along a couple of little tips for what it’s worth:
First I bought a digital scale to weigh tiny amounts in grams:

I wondered about how to dispense and weigh yeast, salt, and other powders in tiny amounts. Here’s my solution:
I bought mini cupcake paper liners from Amazon which I place on my scale. These have the advantage of being greaseproof and non-stick: They are described as Non-Stick 400pcs Mini Cupcake Liners for Baking, Natural parchment mini muffin liners for Mini Muffin Pan, Mini Cupcake Pan, Food Grade,Non Stick, Greaseproof
For scooping tiny amounts of sugar, gluten, malt and other powders, I use tiny scoops that I make by simply cutting a plastic straw into short segments and then cutting on an angle at the end.
