Since it was so close by when I arrived, I first hit Da Michele simply because it was so close to my hotel. Haven’t been since ’16. The flavor of the cornicione was delicious. Tomato sauce slightly acidic which made the overall pizza not as delicious since my last visit. Also they have a tendency to slightly burn the bottom (yellow color on the bottom because of too much flour which causes bitterness) and I noticed that same yellow color and to an extent resulting flavor. Da Michele is a high production joint and reasonably priced so this is understandable. Prices gone up to 6 euro now…back in ’16 pretty sure it was under 4 Euro. Interestingly the Da Michele in London when I went in ’19 the Margherita and Sausage Friarielli pizzas were both absolutely outstanding. They charge a much higher price at that location as it’s also a “proper restaurant and London rent and all..

In the evening I went to Attilio. Hadn’t be…
