In Canada it’s also possible to buy a new 20Q/20L spiral mixer for C$1300. I found a used one for only C$600 and went to buy it but as soon as I saw it, I immediately realized it’s not for me. It was too big and heavy not to mention minimum dough capacity may also be too much. It may work for people who are not stressed on the space and are stable in their current place with no future plan t move, such a big mixer may not be a big issue.

When I received my Alpha 10L (10.5Q) mixer which I had to return because it was defective, I found out that even a 10L mixer is already too heavy and big for my p[reference even though it was a tabletop mixer. A 20Q mixer is not a tabletop mixer IMO.

I finally got a used Sunmix 6 mixer and I think it’s the right size for me. I would encourage people to make sure the mixer they get is reasonable considering their available space. Kys mixer is about the same size as Sunmix 6 and Famag I5s. These small spiral mixers are not that much larger than a Kitchenaid 6Q mixer. They ar…
