I rarely buy ic anymore and never eat it. If it has any kind of gum in it then not good. Häagen-Dazs is one of the few that are worthy of eating. Someone from Tillamook explained that Häagen-Dazs services and distributes it’s product making it tougher for others to complete with the freshness so they add stabilizers to extend shelf life.

I was in the ic biz for a bit.

I remember a while back there was a video going around that showed a guy put a bowl of bryers ice cream out on the counter for days and it never would melt!!    :o
