Considering that you are in the Neapolitan style section of the forum, block mozzarella has no reason to be mentioned, or all of the Neapolitan saints will collectively spin in the graves (and there are a whole lot of saints there) 
Neapolitan should be made with fiordilatte, or mozzarella di bufala in some cases. Fresh mozzarella (drained) works, too. Alas, good mozzarella is expensive due to the premium ingredients.
If you have a Costco membership, Costco sells burrata and mozzarella di bufala at great prices. The Belgioioso mozzarella is also good there (2 lbs for less than $9)
