We visited a local slice shop yesterday evening to order a pizza for election night TV dinner. It’s helmed by meth addicts, who are very jumpy and can become agitated when it gets busy, but they are friendly.

We were told they were not accepting any new orders and were out of slices. I spied this jalapeño, green bean, and bacon pizza sitting off to the side and asked about its availability. I was told it was burnt beyond selling but if I wanted it I could have it for $6. We took it home and dressed the F out of it with sausage, three cheeses, sauce, tomatoes, the kitchen sink treatment. It was pretty good.
