Urfa chili flakes are lightly smoked, a little salty, and seedless, dark purple in color. More heat than say gochugaru which is also seedless, not as hot as good red chili flakes, but sometimes picking seeds out of your teeth isn’t worth it.
more complex flavor than most chili flakes.
They’re from Turkey and often sold as “urfa biber chili” which is obviously like saying “ATM Machine”
