Which would probably get hot enough to burn you, or at least be really uncomfortable to the touch. I can’t imagine it having enough insulation where it would be nearly cool enough to open a dough ball on top.

I might be wrong, but I don’t see that being suitable for dough prep. Heck sometimes when it’s “warm” outside I struggle for my dough to not stick when building pizzas.  Now if they figured this out and I can build a pizza on top. I’d love one of these with the tripod stand. 

Assuming the stand isn’t an addition $500.
