Re: The Art of Sandwiches
I thought the bread was light on salt, but the texture was great. I had the Favolosa. I was expecting more salt from the pecorino “cream”, which is just emulsified pecorino cheese).
My wife had La Paradiso. The pistacchio “cream” (actually a pesto) was really nice with mortadella and they also had raw pistacchio. The stracchiatella cheese provided the creamy element.
Overall it was very good, but I don’t think I’d call it the best samich I ever had.9
I ate at one of their Milan locations in October. I had one with truffle mortadella, stracchino, mushroom cream, and arugula. It was great.
A few months ago I made some schiacciata and the first two sandwiches I made were copycats of the ones you and your wife had. They were good, but a lot of work for a couple sandwiches.
