Looks good, I just made some rhubarb and strawberry compote. Added some ginger and lime juice

I was not able to get a good photo with the savages circling but it was delicious. Last night I had a small serving, without ice cream, stone cold. It had mellowed a bit and was tasty.

Your compote looks and sounds good. I imagine the ginger adds a nice bit of warmth to the taste.
