That would probably be an issue if you built your pizza with sauce down first, but it would also be a problem if you are using a seasoned cold rolled steel pan 😉. As has been well discussed here on the forum there is no one that makes the uncoated steel pans now that Allied has gone out of business except for Walter’s 12×12 pan and as you indicated he doesn’t ship internationally. All that are available now are aluminium pans, including the Lloyd pans. There are a lot more places that use standard aluminium pans that have been seasoned than you may realize. Greek style places, for example. Just look at restaurant supply sites to see the types of pans they have for sale. I’m sure that a Lloyd pan would serve you well and, as nanometric indicated, it’s a one time purchase whose cost is negligible over time. Still, though, it is made out of aluminium and if that concerns you figuring out how to get one of Walter’s pans or a used steel…
