I found this article of interest because it gives average sales per store for 50 pizza chains. What I was curious to see was where the really big chains ranked in the list. As it turns out, many of them are pretty far down the list. The list includes a lot of chains that are unknown to me but with impressive average sales per store. No doubt there are a lot of factors involved, including quality of their pizzas, the quality of management, favorable cost structure, a favorable history, and location.
