I did have one with the angled screws,  IIRC, and have purchased ones with the original bag and it is pain getting all the flour out.   Didn’t know there was such a thing as a nationally ranked quilter, but yes, I am sure you can make you own.   I didn’t like the design on the Royal Lee because flour gets trapped on the outside of the bowl rim.  I made a different arrangement so that the sleeve is inside a straight tupperware by being wrapped around a hoop that has a bevel.   My first few I made with fabric from a dust collector bag from Harbor Freight, the last few, just regular fabric and had no problems.

Yeah, that’s for sure a consideration.

My Lee is still in pieces. I want to get more of the vintage goo off of the casting before reassembling and haven’t done that yet.
